.45 ACP 200 Gr. SWC - Sized to .452 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
Very likely the most popular .45 ACP bullet ever made. Capable of fine accuracy. Popular in USPSA, IDPA and Bullseye competitions.
Just got my latest shipment of a case (2200) of .45 ACP 200 gr SWCs. My mailman probably hates me but I don't care - these are great bullets! Way cleaner in the bore of my game guns than the moly-coated bullets I'd been using previously, AND the added bonus of making Major power factor with 0.2 fewer grains of Titegroup than I'd been using! On top of that, I'm paying a little less for these than what my previous supplier charged. Thank you Bayou Bullets! Smitty on 28th Feb 2018
The only thing that I have found wrong out of two separate orders is on my last order I had one bullet out of a thousand that was the wrong size. No big deal, but I didn't catch it in time and it got lodged in my setting die causing me some downtime. Philip Lakin on 17th Feb 2018
I was new to reloading .45 acp. I had some issues because data was all over the place for OAL, case bulging, and charge. I started out rough 1.275 OAL, 5.3 grains of Unique, and not so straight seating. Emailed Dennis and he called my home and left a VM. I returned the call at 5PM PT thinking no way but he picked up at home. After a great discussion, I flattened out the end of my bullet seating shaft for a straighter presentation and moved down to 1.255 ( a finger nail according to Dennis), moved my charge up based on newer data to 5.7 grains of Unique, and I have excellent results. Out of a service model XD, these are very accurate rounds. At 4 fence posts (40 ft) all five were in the 2" sticker. 100 % failure free and very soft. I was so happy to be recommended to Bayou Bullets, I will buy nothing else now. chill1955@tds.net on 7th Feb 2018

I have used this bullet for some time now. I've gotten excellent results using it with both Titegroup and VV N310. This is an accurate well priced bullet. I'll be buying more. Doc Wells on 28th Jan 2018
This year I placed second in the IDPA CDP Maksman division for The Western Championship in Sacramento, CA. I used my stainless steel Kimber Team Match II 1911 with 200 gr. SWC Bayou Bullets with 4.8 grains of Titegroup powder loaded into Wilson Combat mags. The SWC Bayou bullets made large, clean holes which gave me an edge. Jim Van Landingham on 13th Dec 2017
Great bullet - don't know what more I can say - purchased approx. 18,000 + of this bullet, great consistency, ease of reloading and accurate to boot. Great job Dennis! Jerry on 9th Nov 2017
I've loaded and shot about 1500 coated Bayou Bullets in .45 ACP (200 gr SWC) over the past few months, replacing a moly-coated bullet I'd been using. Based on measured weights of several dozen bullets, the Bayou Bullets are more consistent with a 15% lower standard deviation. On top of that, these coated bullets run about 3% higher velocity for the same powder charge as my previous bullets. Better consistency and higher velocity are a good combination when you're trying to achieve power factor without adding extra margin. I haven't found anything not to like about them and I just ordered another two thousand! Gary Smith on 12th Oct 2017
With 5.8gr of Winchester 231 I'm getting 2" groups from 25 yards from a ATI Commander. That's good enough for me. Unknown on 19th Aug 2017
