    1. great bullets

Despite a horribly long wait (17 weeks), which I am pretty sure was beyond the company's control, in these pandemic times; it was well worth it, to get these great bullets, from a good company, and at a very reasonable price. The bullets are uniform and accurate. They appear, so far, to give about 20 fps additional velocity, with no smoking, or leading. And they are tough. I'll buy more! on 18th Mar 2021

    2. Quality

Very happy to get these HIGH QUALITY cast bullets. I heard about them from a good friend that has been shooting them a long time. As far as I'm concerned the wait time was well worth it. My pistol loves 185 gr. cast semi-wadcutters and these will be great accurate bullets!
      Thanks for them.

    3. Best Customer Service ever

We all know there is a shortage going on, or should I say an overwhelming demand as this country is under siege. But when the owner of the company calls 10 min after you place an order to discuss the long shipping time, that's service.

    4. best bullets around for the price

I've been using the Bayou Bullets 45 cal. 185 swc for about 2 years .I've fired about 4000 of them down range. I've used them with Clays, W231, HP38, & IMR Target, loaded to about 900 fps. I find them to be accurate & leave no little or no fouling in my barrel. on 27th Dec 2020

    5. Very good cast bullet

If you shoot a lot, you can’t go wrong with these cast coated Bullets. Can’t wait to start loading for bullseye. on 19th Nov 2020

    6. 185gr SWC

I'm new to loading this type of bullet (having loaded FMJ and JHP rifle/pistol in the past) and have not yet been able to load and test them. I ordered these, various weights/types, to run in Colt SAA clones and a converted Pietta 1858. Obviously I will be shooting reduced power rounds so it will take some time to find what works best. I like the coating so, as I understood it, I don't have to apply anything to the bullets. I've went through a handful of each weight/style I ordered checking sizes. They are sized exactly right in diameter. There is very slight variation in OAL with a small spread from shortest to longest but won't be a problem. Overall, so far, I like what I see and am satisfied with the product. on 24th Sep 2020

    7. First Hi-Tek polymer coated bullet used

As the headline says, I'm new to polymer coated lead. These things feel slick when I handle them. I got a sample of 3 bullet weights for .45 Auto... I'm looking for a lighter load than commercial 230 ball that will operate a Glock 30 SF carry gun. I'm still messing with seating depth on these, but the accuracy out of said Glock is very good (also first time I've tried lead in a Glock). I've got this 185 over 5.0 grains of BE, It's crisp but much nicer than 230 ball. Thanks on 13th Aug 2020

    8. Great product, great customer service, great price

My first order from Bayou was after reading a Reddit post about the service received from them. Dennis went the extra mile for a customer and gave him a great experience, and I figured anyone willing to do that was worthy of my business. After shooting up 1000 bullets, the second order (for 2500) was because the bullets are great too. For the quality and service, I'd pay more for the product than I would otherwise, but the nice thing is....I don't have to, the price equals the lowest I'd found anywhere else. Triple-play for the win, you won't go wrong with bullets from Dennis at Bayou Bullets. on 17th Feb 2020

    9. Great value

I have been a caster for over 40 years and these are the best bullets I have shot. Very accurate and clean. These are very hard, clean to handle, no smoke and there is no leading in barrel after a long target session. Load these at 1.245 OAL with a starting load of Tightgroup in my ATI 1911A1. on 15th Jan 2020
