These bullets arrived fast and look great. I haven't had a chance to load and shoot any of them yet but I am anticipating good results. tommy Williamson on 28th Jan 2017
The price is unbeatable. Shipping is very reasonable. The owner is accommodating and replies to any inquiry's.
The coated 250 grain bullets shot admirably in my Ruger.
There is no doubt.
Bayou Bullets is my new bullet supplier. Henry on 5th Jan 2017
Received the 45 LC bullets. They looked great. I weighed and measured a sample batch and they were extremely consistent. Have not shot any of them yet, but if they are anything like their 9MM and 45 ACP, they will shoot great. Albert Murphy on 9th Nov 2016
Shot over 200 so far, they are clean, easy to load, shoot great and the polymer coating virtually eliminates barrel leading. Costumer service is excellent and delivery is really fast. This will be my Gǣgo toGǥ place for cast lead bullets. Unknown on 8th Nov 2016
I have five .45 caliber weapons and I can load the 250 grain .45 Colt bullet in three of them (I can load them all with the 225 grain .45 ACP bullet if I wish). I handload to moderate plinking velocities generally, although the Rossi and Blackhawk can step up quite a bit with this bullet.
As always, quality and outstanding service are the norm for these great people. Alan Stewart on 1st Nov 2016
On the lighter end of 45 Colt fodder, these bullets really demand a try. They are highly uniform in weight and quality. I weighed 30 bullets and ran a regression analysis on them, resulting in a mean weight (spot on) of 250 grains and a SD (standard deviation) of .62117 of a grain in variance, at 95% confidence.
Two of the three mid-range loads I have developed so far have shown promise, yielding 1.5" groups at 25 yards. Not bad for tired, fiftyish, eyes looking over a gleaming stainless blade sight on a Ruger New Vaquero. I suspect a fire-lapping of my barrel will dramatically improve things. These were not hot loads and I experienced no leading. In fact, a recovered bullet from the 50 yard earthen/shale berm retained over 98% of its nominal weight. A considerable amount of the copper-red powder coat was still visible on the bullet including the sharp-edged flat base.
Very pleased so far and see these as a staple in my 45 Colt bullet rotation.

I loaded these up for my Ruger Vaquero and I was so impressed with them that they are now my go to bullet for my revolver. I have listed below why I like these bullets so much and why Bayou has become my only source for cast bullets.
1. They answer the phone and speak to you in a courteous manner. (Shocking, I know.)
2. Their web-site is straight forward and easy to navigate.
3. They offer 100 round packs. (Awesome)
4. Delivery was a very quick. (Awesome again).
5. Shipping charges are really good.
6. The bullets looked good and loaded perfectly. (Note. I trim my brass because I seat and crimp in one pass. These crimped perfectly every time). Nice!
Now the actual shooting. Right from the get go I was hitting the bulls eye 3 or 4 out of every cylinder full I shot (15 yds w/Ruger Vaquero). After a little more accuracy testing I started shooting for fun and was amazed at how the bullet/gun combination made me so accurate. It was almost effortless (shooting with both eyes open and not really using the front sight) to hit steel at 20 yds. Bayou, thank you for putting out an awesome product. I can now enjoy this gun without having to take out a second mortgage just to buy ammo. So. Cal Man on 23rd Aug 2016
Used Bayou Bullets for the first time. All bullets were uniform with consistent diameters and weights. Shot very accurate out of SRH. Will be ordering more soon. Chad on 25th Feb 2016
