.45 ACP 225 Gr. TC - Sized to .452 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
A great design that is accurate and feeds well in semi autos.
I started out with 100 of these to test them. Now, thousands of them later, they are easily my favorite and have proven to be the most accurate when I set them at an OAL for each pistol's chamber, like 'custom' ammo might be made. I don't lube them, and they don't seem to need it: the barrel stays clean of residue except from the powders used. During the 'pandemic' I tried some other coated bullets until my order from here came, but found myself disappointed by them: I think these bullets have spoiled me?

Just shot my first batch of TC bullets, they feed really well and punch a nice clean hole in paper. I will be ordering more. Thanks Bayou Bullets. Val Hicks on 27th Jul 2022
Bayou bullets are accurate and I don't experience any leading like the old days. Chuck Boise on 4th Oct 2021
Took a while for the bullets to get here but they look great Kent Ervin on 15th Jul 2021
I loaded with 4.2 gr. of IMR Target. Excellent accuracy & function in a Competition Colt & Ruger SR1911. These things are great on bowling pins! Low recoil, but plenty of momentum to carry them off the table. Rick Silcox on 29th May 2021
The 225 gn TC bullets load easily and punch absolutely clean round holes in my loads. I've gone through 3,000 and about to load 6,000 more. Dealing with Bayou is a pleasure. I have no reason to go anywhere else for coated lead bullets. Unknown on 13th Apr 2021
I don't remember how many of these I've loaded but it's been a lot. In my 1911s, I get great accuracy with them. The coating on all of the bullets of every caliber I've purchased from Bayou Bullets have been really great and hold up well. After shooting a couple hundred, I look from the breech down the barrel and wonder why I'm bothering to clean it. TomR2 on 29th Mar 2021
Great price's you get great products and reliable. mike t smith on 30th Dec 2020
I'm new to loading this type of bullet (having loaded FMJ and JHP rifle/pistol in the past) and have not yet been able to load and test them. I ordered these, various weights/types, to run in Colt SAA clones and a converted Pietta 1858. Obviously I will be shooting reduced power rounds so it will take some time to find what works best. I like the coating so, as I understood it, I don't have to apply anything to the bullets. I've went through a handful of each weight/style I ordered checking sizes. They are sized exactly right in diameter. There is very slight variation in OAL with a small spread from shortest to longest but won't be a problem. Overall, so far, I like what I see and am satisfied with the product. Since I have not actually fired any of them yet I rate 4 instead of 5 stars. Billb on 24th Sep 2020
This was first time that I tried lead bullets. I bought 225 gr. TC. They perform very good, same as product from Hornady, Nosler and others, but priced much less. Vladimir Rivlin on 5th Sep 2020
