3. Check your Lead levels

   I currently shoot in an indoor center fire league two nights a week. Anyone that shoots indoors and hasn’t had their lead levels checked should, they may be very high. I have several friends that shoot in this facility and we all have higher than normal lead levels in our blood. We all hand load and take the necessary precautions when loading. However when shooting, there is a lot of lead smoke from the firing of the bullets. Even with good ventilation you still receive and breathe the smoke from the fired rounds.
   
   Since we have been using the coated bullets from Bayou our lead levels have gone down. 6 of the seven of us shoot on the same line and there is less smoke from using the coated Bayou bullets. It is easier to see the targets, accuracy is great, and the cost of the coated bullets is the same as the forged bullets we were using before. One other benefit to using the Bayou bullets is the different colors they come in. They look great and are a big conversation topic with the guys.

5. The "VERY BEST" .45 ACP 200gr LSWC I've ever reloaded. PERIOD

   I've been reloading the 45 ACP for just over 25 years. I've competed in Bullseye and ISPC most of that time and hunt with my 45 as well. During that time I've reloaded bullets from just about every company; DJ, BullX, Oregon Trail and other boutique shops promising a better bullet and better accuracy. I've also used just about every powder with the 200gr and 185 LSWC. I'm at the range 3 times a week, sometimes more, for several hours. My favorite load is the widely published "Bullseye" load for a 200gr LSWC for the 50 yard line using Bullseye powder which has always been excellent but a tad on the dirty side. The Bayou bullet is nirvana for me. The most accurate, clean, and virtually smokeless I've ever loaded. Give them a try with the Bullsey 50 yard line load, COL ~ 1.255 (+-.2), Taper crimp ~ .469 (.470 max). Phil M - Ormond By-The-Sea, Florida on 19th Jan 2016

6. Great...no messy, greasey lube to deal with.

   The coating on these bullets makes them so much better, easier and cleaner to handle and load. I have not had the chance to shoot many of these bullets, however, the ones I have shot did quite well. Great product. Darrell Early on 15th Dec 2015

8. Great bullet at a great price

   Decided to give these bullets a test drive based on recommendations from other I have been shooting with. I tried the 9mm 147g and they shot great through my Beretta so... always looking for a better deal for my match loads I stepped into these. Shot the next match... which just happened to be the Mountaineer Classic in Boone, NC. They shot extremely accurate through my G21 to say the least! Finished 3rd out of 24 CDP shooters, got the bump from SS to EX and in that process outshot all in my division, all but one shooter in the EX division and all but one shooter in the MA division. Can't say it was all with the help of the bullets but have a very accurate, reliable bullet certainly helps a lot. Needless to say I will be using these for my CDP rounds from now on. And for all the "nay sayers" that whine about lead bullets through a factory Glock barrel... let's just say I scrutinized the barrel when I cleaned it and there was no lead fouling at all... 9. .45 ACP 200 gr. SWC

10. Great for USPSA

    Switched from Berry's plated to these for USPSA and I couldn't be more happy. These bullets 5.3 gr HP-38 1.25 col are just the ticket for an accurate light recoiling load for single stack. The cost savings is a welcome bonus as well. Ordered 1k right away as I have heard nothing but good things about these bullets from several fellow shooters at my local matches and they couldn't have been more right.
