1. Fine bullets, incomplete coating`

   I received a sample pack of 100 rounds of the 200gr Semi wadcutters in 45 caliber with the Hi-Tech coating. I used them in a steel-challenge competiton, fired through a Baer 1911. Some rapid shots and an average of 5 shots in 4 seconds (not counting draw time, so less than 1 second between shots and some in half that time). Flawless feeding, no problems.
   
   Many of the bullets were incompletely coated, however, with bare metal exposed in some of the lub channels. All the bearing surfaces were fully coated so the coating was functional, just a bit disappointing. Gregory Norton on 5th May 2016

2. I'm pleased

   I've been reloading 200 gr SWC since 1973 for my 1911 race gun. This was the first time I tried the coated ones from Bayou. Tried a few hundred and I'm ordering more. Wayne on 3rd May 2016

3. Great service and fast shipping along with a great product

   I was in a pickle and needed a 200 gr SWC for a match and the BB folks took my order on Tuesday and I got my bullets on Thursday. I already had a load worked up for lead and continued with the same for the BB. They passed chrono and gave me at least the same accuracy that I had in my previous load. I can now take the time to see if there is a possible improvement in accuracy which may not be possible because of the trigger operator but they are a pleasure to load and clean to boot. 5. awesome bullets

   Great bullets, coating is much harder than expected seems to hold up really well. Loaded up great with a little imr700 in mixed brass. Shot great out of my gi 1911, no leading. Will buy again. ian on 21st Jan 2016

6. Great Bullets

   Just shot the first few of many I plan to shoot and they were great. The coating is very slick and with the small bevel at the base makes them very easy to load. Going to try the round nose next. They fed fine in my pistol. Joe Lincecum on 27th Oct 2015

7. Epic Bayou Bullets .45acp Hi Tek coated SWC

   Excellent bullets. No Jamming whatsoever! Barrel looked clean and no sign of leading, which means the Hi Tek coating did its job.
   
   Sig Sauer P227 .45 acp. Used 4.7gr of Titegroup, Federal Large Pistol Magnum primers, OAL at 1.250, and mixed brass.

9. Impressed so far

   Loaded a few mags to test out. Had 1 FTF out of 24. Could be mag or a couple hundredths longer then the others. Four stars for the fact a few had coating come off the tip when I seated them. Will load up the rest and see. If they work will defiantly order again otherwise will use the coated 230 grain ball that bayou offers.

10. Impressed... AGAIN

    Again, I am impressed with the quality of the tolerances and finish on these bullets. They are clean to handle and load. I bought the 100 round package to see which ones my SR1911 CMD would prefer. These 200gr SWC fed perfect in my pistol and with the load I developed was one of the more consistent loads of the day. I wish there were more colors choices as I would like to use different colors for different loads with the same bullet. For now I use 3 different colored bullets with either some blue layout dye or sharpie on the head stamp to identify various loads. Frank on 13th Mar 2015
