    1. My ship has come in!

Finally a bullet with all the accuracy characteristics of lead, the feeding reliability of jacketed and no smoke or lead contamination while handling or shooting. These 185 gr Bayou Bullets consistently give me under 1.5" groups at 25 yards when I do my part in my 1911. 5.3 grs of W-231 and Federal primers round out the winning combination with this bullet. Couldn't be happier! on 21st May 2015

    2. Product is as stated in the description

What can I say, they measure at .451 as stated and are for the .45 ACP. I don't have a scale that goes over 100 grains so I'm not positive that the weight is right, I'm fairly sure it is though because every round I've measured has had a consistent diameter. The HiTek coating doesn't look as thick as I've seen it from a different company's rounds but I don't think it matters much, they cycle and shoot just fine with a seating depth to make the COL 1.233". Will buy more. on 2nd Apr 2015

    3. Love this product.

We shoot indoors and the fact that there is no big puff of lead smoke is very important to me.

The coating leaves no traces in the barrels of my Les Baer .45.

I've tried both 185 grain as well as 200 grain swc Bayou's and at 50 feet see no difference in poi.

    4. Super accurite

Loading these for a HK USP 45. after 250 rounds, very little leading, only visible under a bright LED, looked like pencil marks and cleaned out easily. When loaded short OAL over red dot powder I'm shooting 1.8" 10 shot groups at 60'. Simply amazing. I started with the 100 round sample pack and quickly ordered 500 more. The best Lead bullet on the market today. on 18th Feb 2015

    5. Shoots great,loads great!

I've reloaded for over 25 years for bullseye shooting with lead and tried these last year and I will never go back to plain lead again. I've used these in 3 1911's, Custom Springfield bullseye, Kimber Gold medal and a Kimber carry. I've started shooting more action events, so I'm putting more rounds down range and a quick pull of a bore snake and barrel looks clean.
Highly recommended, great product and great price, and fast shipping, thanks again!

    6. 185 swc

I have reloaded about 1000 rounds of the 185 swc and had no problem with the reloading or the shooting of them. No jams. No leading on 13th Dec 2014

    7. Try these out!

After using a lot of name brand cast bullets, I was really impressed with the customer service. And of course, the bottom line bullseye shooters care about- accuracy was excellent and my barrel was surprisingly clean after firing, easiest clean-up by far. One wet patch and one dry and my Kart .45 barrel was spotless. My new go-to cast bullet brand! -Andrew on 3rd Dec 2014

    8. Very Nice

I normally shoot the green 230 grain heads for USPSA. I got the gold 185 heads to make a Steel Challenge load. Firstly, the color is pleasing, but it is far more of a copper hue than a of gold color. Quality was good. However I did have one head where the gold coating was inconsistent.

With all that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the gold 185 heads again. Bayou is always dependable.

    9. Happy customer

I'm glad I found Bayou Bullets, I have loaded and shot almost 7000 rounds of the .45 ACP 185 SWC's and have not found a bad one in the bunch. The coating is awesome, the bullets recovered after hitting my AR 500 plates still have some coating on them and my barrels on my SR 1911, Springfield RO and my XDS 45 are staying clean, Thank you Donnie for a great product, I WILL order more. on 9th Sep 2014

    10. No More Barrel Leading!

Another manufacturerGs cast bullets were causing horrible barrel leading problems. I found Bayou Bullets, tried them and my leading problems are gone. In addition, the BayouGs are much more accurate. Thanks Bayou! on 26th Aug 2014
