    1. Great bullets

I bought these to load a .44 Special load that replicates the Skeeter Skelton load, 240 grain cast SWC over 7.5 grains of Unique. While I haven't had the opportunity to shoot these yet, they are very easy to load. I have been loading 190 grain cast LHP from another manufacturer and was concerned about having to reset my bullet seating die and crimp die. These bullets are exactly the same dimension as the 190 grain bullet, just no hollowpoint, so I didn't have to change a thing. The bullets loaded easily, no issue with the thickness of the coating compared to a standard lubed cast bullet. I will be ordering more of these; I haven't decided whether to go with a standard size order or stick with the 100 round sample packs. Right now it doesn't matter as I'm out of empty cases. on 27th Jun 2018

    2. Great bullets!

The bullets are superior and they were shipped in a very timely manner. Highly recommended. on 6th Jun 2018

    3. The right combo

I have been working on a .44 Special load and have tried a number of projectiles form diffrent manufacturers useing Alliant 2400 with mix results. The 240 gr SWC from Bayou Bullets and the 2400 has produced a load that is a joy to shoot. Has to be the bullets! Thanks. on 25th Apr 2018

    4. Awesome bullets

I have loaded many 240 gr lead and coated lead bullets from other manufactures. What I like about these is they only vary in weight at most a grain. I started with a 100 rnd sample pack, and now I just received my 1st box of 500. I'm now going to try out the 9mm sample pack that I also purchased, after checking them out closely, I'm sure I'll be ordering more.
Thanks for making such a great product!

    5. Great bullets at a great price.

I loaded these up around 950 fps to shoot out of my Taurus Tracker. Clean and accurate. I tried same load in my 12" Encore, getting 1125 fps. Then shot a one hole group at 40 yards. on 27th Mar 2018

    6. Great product, Excellent customer service

Sent an E mail on a Sunday afternoon asking about .431 diameter bullets. Within 10 minutes I had received a phone call, explaining the availability and how to order the oversize. Later that same Sunday evening I placed my order online. The order was delivered to me on Thursday.
Have only loaded and fired 40 of these so far, but they are very clean and very accurate.
Very pleased with the product and the service.

    7. Great bullet!

Ordered a sample pack of these mainly to punch paper and practice free hand shooting with a ruger redhawk 7.5 inch barrel. Used unique powder and these bullets shot absolutely awesome. Will be ordering 500 more very soon. Customer service is outstanding. They shipped lightening fast. I had a question on them and asked through the contact us section and got a very prompt answer. I foresee using lots of these bullets in the future. on 15th Jan 2018

    8. perfect performance

They shipped the bullets out immediately. They all weigh within half a grain of 240. You can push them too goofy magnum velocities with no problem. Finally, the hi Tek looks great. What more do you need? on 23rd Dec 2017

    9. Best Bullet

I loaded 50 each of the Bayou 44 cal. 240 gr. gold coated bullets and my own cast coated copper red 240 gr. bullet with a copper gas check and 50 of the Xtreme 240 gr. copper plated bullets. I used the same charge of 7.5 gr. Univ. Clays in starline 44 mag. brass and Winchester primers for all 150 cartridges. The results were both coated bullets were more accurate than the plated bullets and no sign of leading. My own coated and gas checked bullets left the bore the cleanest but cost about the same as the Bayou bullets. The plated bullets cost about $.06 more per round and are less accurate. From now on I'll be shooting the Bayou product and buying them in the 1900 case lot the only drawback I can see is my lady mail carrier can't lift the 70 pound box. on 10th Dec 2017

    10. Great Bullets!

I saw a good review on a reloading forum and ordered 100 to try in my S&W 629 .44 Mag. They were shipped the same day and came nicely packaged. The bullets looked really good especially the coating which was clean and durable. They shot and grouped beautifully behind 6 grains of "Clays" powder which is a nice target load. No smoke or fouling. You couldn't ask for better performance. I immediately turned around and ordered 500 more. I love these bullets! on 7th Dec 2017
