.40 S&W/10mm 140 Gr. FP - Sized to .401 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
This is the lightest .40 S&W/10mm bullet we offer. Great bullet for “Steel” Shooting. Very Accurate as well.
Great accuracy with very minimal recoil out of my M&P pro. Shoots clean, loads easy and great service from Bayou. Just received my last order from them and will definitely buy again. Kero on 13th Jun 2023
I run the 140 grain .40 cal. Bullets in both my SR40c pistol and PC40 carbine. Very accurate, no jams and the barrel is spotless. Very happy with these bullets. Matt Laramie on 12th Aug 2022
Got the 140gr. TC .40 S&W loads close to matching the 9mm Luger loaded with BB 120gr. TCs to use in the .40 S&W to 9mm Conversion barrel.
My experiment showed that the ".40 S&Ws are snappy" is not the case, but that is just my opinion.
Next experiment is to use a Mantis device, that attaches to the firearm, to measure recoil using both barrels by changing only the barrels and factory mags.
Also, that may verify my opinion or tell me what needs to be tweaked.

Look good so far. Marcum Randall on 30th Nov 2021
I bought the 140 gr. .40 for Steel Challenge and loaded them with 3.1 gr. Sports Pistol. Flat shooting with virtually no recoil. I test fired them with an 12# recoil spring with no cycling issues (CZ Tactical Sport with 5.23” barrel). I ended up using a 10# spring (out of excessive caution). No muzzle flip and virtually no recoil. You’ll experience a laugh-out-loud moment after the first shot. Mousefarts that shoot very flat at 25’. I also loaded these with Titegroup (I have lots of this powder) and had similar results.

I got these to work up a minor load and they didn't disappoint. Great minor load, very accurate, and soft shooting. I highly recommend Bayou Bullets for all your bullet needs. They're great people that offer a great product at a great price! Chuck D on 28th Sep 2021
Brought a SIG P320 with a 3.9" barrel slide, a G24 and a G27 all of which ate the 3 boxes of 50 each with slightly different, low power, weights of Ramshot Silhouette powder. The G24 and G27 had reduced power springs to try to get the ejected cases to get into the case catcher I use.
I'm old and have some arthritis in my hands and would appreciate an easier racking slide which the lighter springs provide.
I went to a 12# Wolff spring on the G24 and plan to bump that to a 14# to see how that does.
The Wolff non-captured G27 spring, which as I remember is -2# from stock, ran like a champ and is noticeably easier to rack.
I have some P320 Legion, full size calibration springs from Armory Craft on order for my next Bayou Bullet, 140gr, TC adventure!

fantastic plinking and target shooting bullets- I actually used these to win my County Law Enforcement class at the NRA National Police Shooting Championships 2 years in a row back when they were held in NM. I wanted a low recoil 40 cal round to compete with all the 9mm mouse fart competitors. These bullets performed really well from my Glock 35. Paul P. on 15th Dec 2020
My personal goal is to match, as close as possible, the POA and POI in .40 S&W firearms that I have .40S&W to 9mm conversion barrels for.
My dynamic duo set of bullets, for the attempt is this Bayou Bullet, 140gr FP and their 9mm, 120gr FP.
After I get the iron sights down, I'll move to these things they call "Red Dots" to see how I can get a match with those.
The people and product here are great and if you give them a try, you will hear what I saw and see what I heard:)
Enjoy the day!
