    1. Great stuff my man

I need some more on 27th Mar 2018

    2. First review: New Polymer cased lead alloy bullets

After much reading of reviews of polymer covered bullets I decided to give them a try in my reloading. Shipping was very quick, I had them in 3 days. They were exactly as advertized. They loaded nicely, following others recommendations to "bell" the mouth of the cases slightly to avoid displacing the polymer. I also followed the recommended velocity for this type bullet.
Recoil was typical for this velocity and accuracy was generally good with a few "out of group"@100yds. These measured .309 and I usually shoot .310 and .311s so I feel they did great and with no smoke or use of gas checks. I wish they were available in 7.62x39@.310 or .311.

    4. My M1 carbine eats these like popcorn !

This was my 1st purchase from Bayou Bullets, but it won't be my last. They seat so easy, no need to flare the case. First time at the range I shot a 1 inch 5 shot group at 25 yards. Not bad for an old geezer ( the rifle that is....) on 9th Feb 2017

    5. STUPID FAST SHIPPING!!!

I ordered 4 different calibers (600 rounds worth) on a Friday night and I received them the following Monday...in Montana. Packaging was more than sufficient, and the bullets were in great shape. I have yet to load any rounds, but plan on doing so ASAP. I'm kicking myself in the ass for waiting so long to place an order. Thank you Bayou Bullets, you just earned a lifelong customer!!! on 4th Oct 2016

    6. On my second box

They load easily and are very accurate in both my Winchester and my Rockola. Consistent bullet weight and works well with 110/296 as my powder. I'll buy more. Naturally I prefer Hornady FMJ's but for 1/3 the price these are an exceptional value. on 2nd Aug 2016

    7. M1 carbine awesome load with Lilgun and unique

These projectiles are the best I could find with exception to USGI pulled/surplus projectiles.
I load primarily on 14gr of lilgun, and in a push, works very very well with unique powder as well.
Loads, chambers, fires, ejects perfectly, just simply another perfect product from Bayou Bullets.

    8. skeptic

Even though I've shot literally thousands of polymer coated handgun bullets from a 1911 in 45 acp and model 52 in 38 special, I was doubtful that there would be no leading from a rifle.
The final load I came up with from my M1 carbine, pushed the 115 grain powder coated bullet 1800 fps and after more than 200 rounds fired, absolutely no leading. I'm a believer and at a third the cost of jacketed bullets, I know what I will be shooting from now on. Thanks for the great product.

    9. Definately a good buy - no leading

these worked great for me with zero leading/buildup. My carbine does 3" @ 100y with these (way better than Aguila junk) loaded at 1.630 COL w/ 12.0gr IMR 4227 sm rifle primer. avg vel 1530fps chrono at 10 - 12ft 20 rounds tested. Will definitely buy again and could probably push them faster on 10th Apr 2016

    10. The cost is 5 STAR

The only reason I rated these 115th bullets 4 Star instead of 5 is purely because they are not the 110gn FMJ I've been shooting since I got the Inland and Rockola M1 Carbines back in 1973 so it's just an emotional response. I gotta admit the functioned very well with both 296 and 2400. They did need to be seated a bit deeper but as said performed on par with The FMJs I've been using.

They are now the bullets I'll be using from now on.
