9mm 147 Gr. FP - Sized to .356 (Typical) Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
One of our most popular offerings in 9mm, a great bullet for IDPA and USPSA shooters alike.
Really nice bullets. All very clean and even coated.
Great help and support from Darrel. John on 21st Nov 2014
Tried this bullet for the first time with my Sig P320 using 3.2 grains of TiteGroup. Averaged 911 fps on my chronograph with no leading and good accuracy. I use this load to shoot IDPA and it works well for me.
Reloading is cleaner than with uncoated lead bullets. With these bullets there is no gumming up of the bullet seating die with bullet lube!
I also found the bullet weight and sizing to be very uniform. I will definitely be using these again!

I ordered 100 of these along with some 135 Gr. and the 160 Gr. bullets just to give them a try. I have read so much everyone liking Bayou bullets so thought I would see how they are. I loaded these using N320 and made 3 different loads and then also a 3 different oal's. They all shot very nicely and actually all showed good grouping and going to be trying more of these in the future. Unknown on 4th Nov 2014
Bullets arrived very quickly. Gold coating extremely uniform. Although I've only shot the 124gr. "green" bullets I'm sure these will shoot just as well. The 124gr loaded with 3.6gr of Titegroup at oal of 1.155 shot fairly soft and very accurate. Zero leading and no smoke to speak of out of a Glock 17. Looking forward to trying out a heavier bullet.
Thanks again Donnie. Unknown on 13th Oct 2014
Did some testing on these 147's. They We're 30 ft./s faster than the plated bullets that I've been using. Also standard deviation was very low 6
This will be my new 9 mm round!!

I only started loading these about a month ago, but used them this past weekend in the 2014 California State IDPA Championship. I didn't shoot as well as I had hoped, but the bullets did really well. Over 3.0 grains of TightGroup in R-P cases with Federal 100 primers (COL 1.125") the match chrono logged the two qualifying rounds at 913 fps and 897 FPS. I'd reduce the load a tenth or two, but I need the 3.0 to make the gun run right.
After 200 rounds, the barrel only needs a light pass with a patch. Unknown on 6th Oct 2014
I have been using Donnie's bullets in all my pistols for the last couple of years. I, like everyone else, was concerned with leading in the Glock factory barrels. After over 35.000 rds. of 9mm. and .45 cal., I have yet to find any leading in any of my Glock factory barrels. I use a Outer's Foul Out ll to confirm this. Accuracy with the Bayou bullets are as good as any I have found. They chrono faster than jacketed bullets with the same powder charge and leave no residue on your hands when reloading them. Another benefit is they are not as smoky as non-coated lead bullets. The price is an added bonus. Customer service cannot be beat. Donnie is a great individual to work with and very knowledgeable about the product he sells. I encourage you to try Bayou Bullets. Unknown on 11th Sep 2014
I've used the Bayou bullets in USPSA, IDPA, and 3 gun, the consistency in muzzle velocity and reloading is second to none! Kevin McPhee on 10th Sep 2014
I ordered these bullets online late Monday night and then first thing Tuesday morning my order had been shipped and was on my doorstep Thursday! Where else do you get that fast of service? I waited to write this review until I got them loaded. I shot them today behind 3.4 grs. of Titegroup and the grouping was great. Can't say enough good things about these bullets. This is my new bullet company for sure. Thomas Dunn on 7th Sep 2014
Can be loaded at a lower power factor which gives you a smoother recoil. Faster target acquisition after recoil. This bullet will enable you to decrease your time and increase your accuracy at the range. In short, it can give you that edge you are looking for. Great product.
