1. Outstanding Bullet and No Wait Delivery

3. Outstanding Product

   I've been using Bayou bullets for several years and just stepped up to the 147 grain flat nose bullets in my Springfield 1911 9mm. A little bit of tuning on the loads and these bullets are absolutely the way to go. The coating is superb and I have had no problems with any residue after a 3-400 round USPSA match.

7. Thousands of rounds later...

   I have ordered 14 thousand Bayou Bullets, both 147gr 9mm and 230gr .45 ACP, and have loaded/shot over 10 thousand rounds. I use them to compete in IDPA, Steel Challenge & bowling pin shoots.    You gotta like a company where the Boss answers the phone instead of a recording! Icing on the cake is that Donnie's brother is Jerry, the ONE and ONLY!
   
   I have used bullets from at least 5 or 6 different suppliers but I've used Bayou's 147's for about three years now as our preferrred bullet for IDPA and USPSA 9mm loadings. No mess on your hands or press when handloading, clean thru the pistol, and accurate. I load to about 10 over Power Floor for all divisions.
   
   Great conversation starter also with the "green Austrailian alligator snot" coating.
   
   I'll be trying some sample paks of .45 this winter to find a load for CDP and Single Stack that my new SA RO prefers best.

10. Loaded rounds chamber check better with these bullets

    I have used a lot of different bullets over the years. Plated, moly coated, and those with other coatings, like these Bayous. These load easily on my 650 and slip in and out of my hand held chamber checker better than the molys. Plus the price is right. Until someone comes out with a cheaper and better bullet, I'll stick with Bayou. Bill on 22nd Oct 2015
