    2. 147 grain Bayou Bullets -Great!

I am not an active competitor but enjoy shooting about every other weekend. Thes bullets reload smoothly, have never given me a misfeed and give great accuracy when loaded with 3.3 grains of Titegroup. on 9th Mar 2017

    3. 147 gr comp use

Have been using these in my springer 5.25 competition and rock island ultra1911 9 mm. Accurate and no feed problems in either pistol. on 22nd Feb 2017

    4. Perfect

This is the best deal on bullets I've found anywhere. on 21st Feb 2017

    5. great bullets so far

I only received these about three days ago. I loaded three different charges and went to the indoor range to test for accuracy and to make sure they functioned well. I only shot offhand at about ten yards and ended up with several 2" 5 shot groups. With a good rest and better eyes I am confident that these would deliver 2" groups at 25 yards. They did seem to like the hotter loads better and I was starting with minimum charges and worked my way up using Bullseye powder. I used 147 gr flat point lead data from the Lyman 48th edition book. The only change from their data was that I did not like the published OAL of 1.058. I set mine to a much longer 1.140. These loads all functioned flawlessly however I only loaded about 75 rounds total to start with. I will be shooting a 3 gun match this weekend and will shoot close to 200 in the match. We will see how that goes. At the same time (literally 10 minutes apart) I ordered some from another manufacturer to compare. Those bullets have yet to arrive now a week and a day after I ordered them. I didn't even get a tracking number or confirmation from them for three days. They've got the blues, if you know what I mean. By they way I really like the green! on 21st Feb 2017

    6. My New Match Bullet

I had been loading a couple of brands of copper plated 147 grain 9mm RN bullets for use in IDPA and USPSA for around 4 years now. A friend I shoot matches with showed up awhile back with some odd looking green coated cast bullets for his 45 auto. I had questions and we discussed how he liked them so much that it got my curiosity up. Well I placed an order for the 147 grain 9mm FP and will be placing a much larger order soon! I loaded them to an OAL of 1.145" and just enough taper crimp to straighten out the flair from the case belling die and these are grouping better than the plated bullets ever did. These are clean to load and shoot out of my CZ P-09 and Glock 17 with no leading of the barrel. on 17th Feb 2017

    7. Color Change.

Why the color change? It seems to have no affect on dynamics other than less "skinning" on 9mm 147s. on 17th Feb 2017

    8. Impressive bullet

After years of using/loading copper plated 9mm bullets, I tried some of the Bayou Bullet 147 FP cast bullets.

I was impressed with the ease in which they load, with the lack of smoke when fired, and with the accuracy. I am a convert and will be loading and using the 147 FP Bayou Bullet for IDPA this coming year.

The price of these bullets is reasonable. Bayou Bullets has very good customer service and quick shipping in with a large order.

I love the black cherry color and hope it is added as a color option in the future rather than being just a substitute while green is unavailable.

    9. First Time Reloading with Poly Bullets

Shot a few rounds with these types of bullets with some friends at the range so I decided to try them. Was not disappointed. Had to adjust my press slightly to meet minimum length requirements but they loaded fine, shot my first trial batch of 50 the next day and all cycled perfectly and gun cleaning showed nothing unusual. on 2nd Feb 2017

    10. Great bullet

When I placed my first order for the 135 grain bullets, I asked for a small handful of these to sample. When they arrived, I loaded them up and tried them out. I really like the way they shoot, a mild charge gives a very accurate and manageable experience which is especially important with my wife starting to shoot a 9mm. So I ordered a whole box this time and am very pleased. on 31st Jan 2017
