Best bullets I have ever used. 3 grains titegroup easily makes power factor. Accurate too. Unknown on 13th Jan 2015
I've had great success using these bullets. They load great and run through my gun great. Accuracy is really good as well. Consistent is a good word for them. David Wilkerson on 26th Dec 2014
I've been using these for competition in IDPA and multi-gun matches for roughly 2 years in my custom 2011. Donnie provides a top quality product with competitive pricing and fast shipping!
If you're looking for a gamer load - couple the 147gr with a fast burning powder. Makes for some serious bunny fart loads that make minor PF with ease. Paul V. on 8th Dec 2014
Can be loaded at a lower power factor which gives you a smoother recoil. Faster target acquisition after recoil. This bullet will enable you to decrease your time and increase your accuracy at the range. In short, it can give you that edge you are looking for. Great product.

I have ordered a few times from bayoubullets and the customer support is great, any question, doubt, they will help you. the product is great as well.
I use them for competition a lot. Mike on 5th Aug 2014
Although I am new to the reloading hobby and therefore lack experience with multiple companies and their multiple products, I did want to say a few (good) words about Bayou.
I found these bullets quite consistent in both the coating and the dimensions (averaged at .356 in. and 147.1 gr.). They process perfectly through my SDB press, and as most may know, the coating works well, leaving little to no residue from a two hundred round session. They are also quick to ship - which I appreciate greatly! I simply do not foresee a reason not to order with Bayou.
On a lighter note, I have to say I like the red colour the best!

Its not the color, choose any one your like, but the shape of this bullet that makes it ideal for competition loads like the 9mm 147gr TRN. There is no issues with the bullet shoulders engaging the rifling, creating an open battery situation and a non-firing gun. Keeping the OAL of the loaded round to 1.125-1.130 and you should never have an issue. Barry B. on 10th Jul 2014
I recently bought 1,000 coated bullets to test against a batch of 1,000 SNS 147 gr Flat Point bullets. I reload my ammunition and for these two bullets I used the Lee Deluxe Die set with my Dillon press.
As it relates to reloading, the Bayou Bullet has proven to be much easier to reload. I believe the configuration of the bullet - as opposed to the SNS bullet - lends itself to that result and the coating on the coated bullet seems to hold up to the process with better results. No adjustments were made on any of the settings.
The shooting experience at this point is the same, although 800 rounds of SNS have been fired and only 100 of the Bayou bullets. Time will tell but I believe the results to be basically the same.
I would like to try the 150 gr SWC configuration given extreme success with LSWC's in the past for 9mm. The challenge may be finding good load data. I have also used the 230 RN Coated Bayou Bullets for .45 caliber with extreme success. The accuracy was dead on. Unknown on 8th Jul 2014
This is one of if not the best bullet Donnie offers. It is super accurate and easy to load. You can't go wrong with this 147!!! Gump Brown on 3rd Jul 2014
