.45 ACP 230 Gr. RN - Sized to .452 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.
The most popular 45 ACP bullet we offer, popular in USPSA, IDPA and ICORE, with both semi auto and revolver shooters alike.
Weight was very good, loaded easily in progressive press with bullet feeder!
Thanks!

Amazing bullets. Have reloaded many many thousands. Impossible to find something better. Unknown on 10th Sep 2020
Bullets reload very easy and shoot very consistent! Ron on 24th Aug 2020
They make a a quality bullet, I use them for all my hand gun reloading. The bullets are consistent and high quality and never let me down. The folks here have great customer service and have always treated me well. Paul Zani on 24th Aug 2020
These bullets load just like the jacketed bullets. The only difference I saw was that they grouped better with the same exact load.
I did have to make adjustments to my press. I found out I was not belling enough and I was not crimping right. Tommy on 18th Aug 2020
Once again Bayou bullets nails it! These projectiles are perfect and ran thru my Dillon 750xl flawlessly. Shane Klein on 8th Jul 2020
I've used these before and they're excellent bullets. Packaging could be better however. One box had broken open and bullets were loose in the outer box. Maybe lost a few bullets in transit, not sure.

Good upgrade to the 230 gr. 45 ACP by dropping the unneeded lube groove. With the old grooved bullet I frequently got some polymer/lead shaving no matter how much bell I put on the case. I think it was because of the lube groove catching the brass. With this solid bullet the the problem is eliminated. Good product. Jeff Brown on 3rd Feb 2020
I've shot thousands of Bayou Bullets in .45 cal, mostly 200 gr SWC and more recently, 230 gr RN for USPSA matches and practice. I really appreciate how clean they leave the barrel, compared to the moly-coated bullets I used previously. Even loading with TiteGroup, there's no excessive smoke.
Shooting Major power factor, one other consideration is consistent bullet weight. When loading for a major match, I weigh 20-30 bullets from the lot I'm loading. The 200 and 230 gr bullets I've used are never more than a half grain below nominal weight, and nearly always average a couple of grains above nominal. I've witnessed more than one shooter miss making PF at the chrono stage when their pulled bullets were a couple of grains below nominal weight, so this is vital and appreciated.
Happily continuing to do business with Bayou Bullets! Gary on 1st Feb 2020
I'm just working up loads but my initial loadings with Clays powder as published on the Hodgdon site shot very well and clean in my Glock 21. I was impressed with the accuracy and they feed perfectly. I'm going to tweak the load a little either way but it seemed spot on right away. A great bullet thanks Dennis!! John on 23rd Oct 2019
