100 Count Sample Pack
Haven't loaded yet, but looking forward to loading and shooting. Robert Higday on 16th Jul 2019
Tried this bullet in a 8.5" pistol using Blue Dot powder. Bullet and powder performed above expectations grouping into 2.1" at 65 yards. Will definitely buy this bullet again. AAA+++ GaCop on 12th Nov 2018
This is not my first purchase from Bayou Bullets and certainly won't be my last. The 180 gr TCG performs extremely well in my 8.5" barrel AR out to 65 yards. I'm currently getting 1100 FPS and 2.5" groups at that range. Tom S on 7th Nov 2018
These bullets are great! Loaded 40 cal 180 gn , used 6.1gns CFE pistol powder. Had plenty of punch, hit hard and right on mark. I will order again! Donald Perry on 29th Mar 2018
I'm just your average guy that likes to go out on the weekend and shoot a few rounds. I ordered some .40 180gr tcg's to try out in my S&W compact and had an issue with FTF. I've reloaded rifle and shotgun stuff for years but I'm fairly new to semi auto pistol reloading. I have read about the customer service in some of the forums on line so I figured I'd send an email and ask for some help. So on a Thursday night about 8:00 I sent an email to Bayou about my issue. About 10 minutes later, I see a call on my cell phone from Louisiana. Thinking it was a robot call I didn't answer it. A few seconds later I see I have a voice mail so I check it to see what it is and it's Dennis from Bayou Bullets wanting to help me! Now, you tell me when was the last time you had someone call you after hours to help you with anything!!! I'm from the the "Show me State" of Missouri and Bayou Bullets showed me they care about their customers even though that was the first 100 bullets I had ever ordered from them. These are the type of guys you could look in the eye, shake their hand and know they're being honest with you. That goes a long way where I come from. Oh, by the way, Dennis did get my issue fixed. Something I was doing wrong, not their product. Just ordered another 500 of the 180's and some 9mm to try out. This is the only place I will be buying my target bullets from now on! Chuck from MO on 12th Feb 2017
I loaded these for my Delta Elite. Shot 1/2 inch group at 12 1/2 yards. Gun has never been that accurate. Nick on 23rd Jun 2016
I was unsure of how well this bullet would work in my glock so I just ordered 100. After loading and shooting them I have just ordered 1000. They shoot great. Kevin Strickland on 3rd Apr 2016
Haven't used the bullets yet. However, shipping was very fast and reasonably priced. Gary S. on 17th Mar 2016
180 grain green polymer bullets worked great. Used three different powders (PowerPistol, Bullseye, and Longshot) and all worked flawlessly with this bullet. Fastest FPS was 1114 with 7 grains of power pistol, slowest FPS was 921 with 4.5 grains of Bullseye. With an overall average of 999 FPS. With great accuracy, as good as the world worst pistol shooter can shoot, i would highly recommend these bullets for overall range fun! Michael on 2nd Nov 2015
I've been using the 40/10 180gr TC bullets with the lube groove for about a year with great shooting results, but they were very finicky while seating. If I didn't have the flare "just right" and didn't have the bullet lined up "just right", I'd end up shaving off the coating and some lead during seating. The difference between different brands of brass cases (probably wall thickness) was usually enough to alter the flare enough to cause some brands to tend to shave more than others.
When I saw these ones without the lube groove, I immediately picked some up for testing. They seat much nicer and without shaving in every brand of case that I've tried (I used batches of "miscellaneous" head stamp brass for this test).
The 40/10 180gr TC bullets *were* my GO-TO for my USPSA loads, but now I'm switching to these TCG bullets since I can reload faster (less time spent trying to get everything "just right") and everything else appears to be identical between the two bullets.
Oh, a range trip confirmed the same point of impact between the TC and TCG at 15 yards (back wall of the indoor range). Rich Alloway on 22nd Apr 2015
