  • Product Description

.38/.357 160 Gr. RN - Sized to .358 (Typical). Other sizes available upon request call or email for options.

This bullet is extremely popular with IDPA, USPSA and ICORE shooters, shoots very accurately in stock revolvers and with it’s pointed nose and no shoulder these bullets speed load extremely well. Works great with .38 short colt brass too. Requires a taper crimp.

In .38 Super Revolvers we recommend these be sized to .357

    1. Great revolver bullet

My second order of these. Loaded well and and shoot very accurately in my 929. Just started shooting revolver again and these will be my go to bullet. on 28th Aug 2024

    2. Another winner

I have used these for years in multiple revolvers for IDPA and they are ideal for use with speedloaders. on 3rd Apr 2024

    3. Very Good Bullets

I shoot these in IDPA Revolver Division and have found them to be excellent performers. Good accuracy, easy loading in my Dillon 650, and gun cleaning is no worse than with use of jacketed or plated bullets. These feed very smoothly in rapid reloads and have replaced my previous use of plated bullets. Excellent value for the money. on 28th Mar 2024

    4. Good Bullets!

I shoot IDPA Revolver division with these bullets. They speed load very easily and are simple to load on a Dillon progressive press. Shoot clean and accurately. Reasonably priced. What more do you need. on 26th Nov 2023

    5. Great

This is my third order. I will be ordering more when the time comes. on 21st Nov 2023

    6. 38spl 160gr

Excellent bullets. I will purchase more. on 14th Oct 2023

    7. Great Bullets #4

The bullets arrived in time for me to reload for the area7 competition, a 287 round minimum match. Best bullets for my S&W 627. Barrel stays clean and lead free. on 11th Jul 2023

    8. Super accurate

I've been shooting 162gn lead .38 special for years and have won multiple competitions and that has made me reluctant to change things. However, I would get some lead buildup near the forcing cone and a little in the cylinders so decided to try Bayou 160gn. They shot to the exact same point of aim with the same accuracy... one inch at 20 yards with 3.4 grains of Bullseye. I shot 50 rounds today with zero leading, then shot 6 rounds of the 162 lead and got leading.
I can't see going back to uncoated lead bullets.

    9. Great Bullets #3

As in the past, these bullets are perfect! Loaded in short colt cases to a power factor of 130 for my Smith & Wesson 627 they always shoot to the point of aim. In moon clips the coated round nose profile they facilitate a fast and flawless reload. on 3rd Mar 2023

    10. Extremely accurate out to 100 yards

I use this bullet in my loads for hunter silhouette matches.
      Really slam those little rams.
