I shoot IDPA and I practice. The Bayou Bullet 124 gr.TCG meets all of it claims and is priced for affordable shooting. Dan Reiff on 30th Dec 2015
My first review I reported a drop in my blood lead from 25 to 8 after 4 months of shooting Bayous (coming off moly). Now I can say that I have tried all the coated bullet brands and Bayous are the most consistent, have the thinnest coating and are virtually odorless and smokeless compared to the others. Delivery is within 2 days of order. You can spend allot more, or you can spend a little less, but you can't get a better coated bullet. My load is the 124TC on top of 4 grains of TiteGroup at 1.100" OAL and it goes about 1,120 fps out of a G17 with a BarSto barrel. Us competition shooters are fortunate to have Donnie in the bullet business! Gordon on 19th Oct 2015
I have reloaded both the 9mm and 45acp for PASS and IDPA competition, both load well and have very good accuracy. You can't ask for anything more. Unknown on 17th Sep 2015
What more could you ask?
Oh yeah, the customer service is the best! It's rare these days to call with questions and get someone who speaks English as their first language. Donnie answers the phone and gets your questions answered.
Been loading 124 gr 9 mm for about a year, and I will keep shooting them, great consistency. Great product.
Great job! God Bless America! Cliff Rolle on 7th Jul 2015
Started using back in Oct of 2014 and really like them. I have tried other manufactures coated bullets and none compare to these. Don on 29th Jun 2015
I switched to Bayous on October 2014 from moly coated and by January 2015 my blood lead level dropped from 25 down to 8, and should be below 4 now. There is NO leading, none, as verified by the hydrogen peroxide/white vinegar mixture to dissolve lead. These bullets are very uniform in coating and weight, are definitely accurate to 40 yards, more than enough for USPSA. They also feed very well in a number of semi autos I use. $$ for $$, you can't do better. And I have tried other 'coated' bullets, they both smoke and smell, even in low velocity .45apcs. Bayous are the best, and the shipping from New Orleans to SoCal is so fast, you'd think it's local.

I have now purchased and used over 8,000 Bayou Bullets are various caliber and weight. I have found all to be outstanding as quality substitute for more expensive jacketed bullets. M. Johnson on 1st Jun 2015
Once again Bayou Bullets has hit one out of the park. Having tried the 124 & 135 gr RN, the 138 gr BNWC, I thought if was time to try the 124 gr TC bullets, sized to .358 in my revolvers.
As was the case with the other Bayou Bullets, the 124 gr .358 TC bullet was clean and accurate in the 980-1,020 fps range at 50 yds. Highly recommend them. ~ Martin M. Johnson on 16th Feb 2015
Bayou Bullets 124 gr TC is the most accurate 9mm bullet that I have shot in all 3 guns. I shot a S&W 9mm 1911, Ruger Blackhawk convertible, and a S&W PC929 using these bullets and produce very tight groups. There is no smell and no smoke. The Red/copper color looks cool too. I shoot 200gr SWC in .45ACP with great results also. Shipping and communication were great. Give them a try. No, I do not work for Bayou. I just love a good bullet. Mr. Gandy on 13th Jan 2015
I've put 15k of these through my 1911, G17, and M&P Shield this year. They run great, with no smoke. I'm getting 1.5" groups from the 1911 at 25 yards. These are very contestant bullets. Unknown on 25th Dec 2014
