These Bayou Bullets are the best! Have been loading several different types of 115's. Cast shot well but the gun was such a mess to clean as well as gumming up seating dies in the press. Plated were clean but never seemed to shoot as well and were very sensitive to to getting a good crimp, especially with range brass. Someone had mentioned shooting cast bullets with a Hi-Tek coating and getting very favorable results with accuracy as well as the gun being easy to clean and little to no smoke. I purchased several hundred Bayou Bullet sample packs and have since began to purchase bulk packs of bullets. These bullets give excellent accuracy and are dream to reload. I use a Mr. Bullet Bullet Feeder and these bullets feed just fine through it! Carter on 8th Mar 2018
I heard of Bayou from a friend and I decided to buy 100 to check them out. The delivery was quick and you can’t beat the price. I just started to reload so you can imagine how this product came at the right time. I have to say that they performed awesome, I feel my accuracy in my shots where better using them compared to other bullets I have used. This is my first time writing a review so not sure what else to put but I will say that I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend this product. Ron on 6th Dec 2017

I bought these to see if there was any advantage of coated bullets over traditional cast and lubed lead bullets. I fired 200 rounds total--2 different powder charges with both the coated and lubed cast bullets, and used the chronograph to measure muzzle velocity. The results: little or no change in velocity between coated and cast, no change at all in accuracy. All the loads hit a pie plate at 25 yards, which is about as accurate as I expected. So with identical powder charges/primers/cases, they performed equally on the range.
Two notable differences. First, the coated bullets hardly smoked at all, so the firearm and the cases were much cleaner after 100 rounds than they were after 100 rounds of lubed cast. Second, handling them during reloading is much cleaner. Hi-Tek coated bullets are a few dollars more than lubed cast bullets (not much more), and they handle and shoot much cleaner. I will use these again. John on 20th Jun 2017
What's to say, if your haven't been reloading and shooting Bayou Bullets, then you have been missing out. Kelly Bourn on 9th Feb 2017
