7. Great Bullets, Great Tech Support!

   I was having a problem with a competitor's bullet in my 1911. Admittedly, I was a newbie to the 1911, and my handloads, while accurate, were not feeding reliably. I called Tech Support at Bayou and asked if their bullet profile was different than their competitor's bullet profile. Dennis Olson inquired as to the exact problem I was experiencing, which was about 1 in 20 to 1 in 50 cartridges not fully chambering. Dennis told me to seat my bullets deeper. For his trouble, I bought a box of 500 bullets in 230 grain 45 ACP bullets with the Hi-Tek coating.
   I had been seating to to an overall length of 1.204 inches. I went to 1.202, and the problem was almost gone. Seating to 1.200 inches with either the Bayou or the competitor's bullet, and the problem was absolutely gone! Thanks Dennis!
   I'll be buying Bayou all the time now! Not only does Bayou make great bullets, but their staff knows how to assist a fellow shooter! Great Plains Sportsman on 17th Aug 2022

    Great product, I've never heard of this company till i did an internet search and purchased your bullets, and I'm glad i did!
    Those gold colored bullets looked so good i almost hated to load them in the .45 case,when i did they loaded and shot supreme! You guy's are the leader in your feild, and definitely will be back for 44s,-38specials-380s-25acps thanks! Davey Crocket on 12th Jul 2022
