A hard hitting .44 in the popular Keith design.
500 Count
Very consistent 239.8 gr on my dillon scale. Coating seems to be consistent and well applied. Will buy again!!! Cody minard on 11th Jul 2024
I have a Marlin 1894 .44 mag that doesn't shoot groups, it shoots patterns. I tried a number of different bullet and powder combinations but without success. I called Dennis and gave him my specs and he recommended I go with a .432 diameter 240 LSWC (coated in a tasteful black cherry.) These bullets arrived in what I consider a very reasonable amount of time understanding the delays with anything firearms related and especially considering I'd ordered bullets from another manufacturer a several weeks earlier and they still haven't arrived. It's taken me a couple weeks to get some loaded up. (waited on a new crimping die) I checked out these coated bullets; the diameter was correct, consistent and the bullets were .4 grains heavier (240.4) which I figured should be right considering the extra diameter and their weight was very consistent as well. My hands didn't turn black from handling the bullets and they slid right into the cases and my dies are clean. I only had 25 yards to shoot from but my old loads still patterned and these made a nice 4 leaf clover! Cliff Koker on 20th Apr 2021
Bayou Bullets has never let me down. Shipping is super fast and very well packed. I enjoy banging steel at 100+ yards with my .44 mag SS Super Blackhawk Hunter with Nikon BDC scope using their bullets. Easy peasy. No leading or exposed lead to handle. Bayou Bullets is my go to business for these type of bullets along with their .45LC bullets. Very pleased. Jim W. on 2nd Nov 2019
Bayou Bullets sized these to .432 to match the over-sized cylinder throats of my S&W 629. I emailed BB on Sunday regarding sizing options, and received a personal phone call response Monday morning. I'm getting excellent results with 8.7 grs of Unique Unknown on 20th May 2019
I have loaded many 240 gr lead and coated lead bullets from other manufactures. What I like about these is they only vary in weight at most a grain. I started with a 100 rnd sample pack, and now I just received my 1st box of 500. I'm now going to try out the 9mm sample pack that I also purchased, after checking them out closely, I'm sure I'll be ordering more.
Thanks for making such a great product! PD Garrison on 12th Apr 2018
Sent an E mail on a Sunday afternoon asking about .431 diameter bullets. Within 10 minutes I had received a phone call, explaining the availability and how to order the oversize. Later that same Sunday evening I placed my order online. The order was delivered to me on Thursday.
Have only loaded and fired 40 of these so far, but they are very clean and very accurate.
Very pleased with the product and the service. John HicksLANE on 13th Feb 2018
They shipped the bullets out immediately. They all weigh within half a grain of 240. You can push them too goofy magnum velocities with no problem. Finally, the hi Tek looks great. What more do you need? John Staunton on 22nd Dec 2017
I saw a good review on a reloading forum and ordered 100 to try in my S&W 629 .44 Mag. They were shipped the same day and came nicely packaged. The bullets looked really good especially the coating which was clean and durable. They shot and grouped beautifully behind 6 grains of "Clays" powder which is a nice target load. No smoke or fouling. You couldn't ask for better performance. I immediately turned around and ordered 500 more. I love these bullets! Nick Kopcha on 7th Dec 2017
I have not loaded any 44 mag. cartridges yet but they work great in 44 spl. with no signs of leading. My pet load for 44 mag has been a 240gn Lee cast bullet with a copper gas check that I apply 3 coats of hi-tec coating over 7.5 to 8.3 gr of univ. clays. If the Bayou bullet works as good as my own coated bullets I'll be buying all my bullets from Bayou from now on. lew med on 27th Nov 2017
Naturally they are a great value. In 44 the 240 grain SWC did not lead up the bore and were very accurate. I will be using your bullets from now on. Dennis S on 27th Apr 2017
