    1. Good quality coated bullets

I have trouble with bog bore plated pistol rounds walking out due to recoil. These 44 mag being a thousandth bigger than plated stay put without a crimp. Another bonus is increased accuracy because of the size. I'll be a customer for life. on 22nd Oct 2017

    2. Excellent Performance

Everyone I've loaded them for has told me these bullets have giving them excellent results on the range and in the field. Three people have downed deer with them and have said the deer have gone less than 15 yds. after having been shot with not a lot of meat damaged and a good blood trial. I just bought a new Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter that I'm loading some up for now. Will report on how this gun shoots with these bullets. Excellent shipping time and price. on 1st Mar 2017

    3. 2 " groups of 5 rested at 50 yds with 240 gr SWC

With open sights I shot a 2" group today at 50 yds with ruger super blackhawk hunter mostly stock, some trigger work. I think i posted once already, but i didnt want to give the impression I could shoot 2" groups all day long with these, because theres no way I can , but I dont think its a fluke either. Cannot do it on command Im sure, or often for that matter, but to see it today then shoot at 12X12 steel at 200 yds and come close or connect I think its a winning combination. I tried a few other bullets and loads but nothing came close to 11 gr power pistol, winchester wlp primers and starline brass. 2400 worked well too, most groups were under 4" with either powder at 50 yds with these 240 gr SWCs.

Some other polymer coated bullets Ive tried are flaking off in places, these are very uniform. Absolutely no leading after 100 rounds of both the 215 gr and 240 gr coated bullets. As one of the gentlemen mentioned, if you want to shoot these in a ruger, check the cylinder throats, most Ive see are .431 so request .431 size if needed. .431 shoots noticeably better then .430 for me in the blackhawk. I never knew how much .001 mattered until I kept trying to get smaller and smaller groups at distance. I really like these bullets sized to .431 in the ruger.

    4. 2 " groups of 5 rested at 50 yds with 240 gr SWC

Best group I ever shot today, with 11 gr power pistol and winchester WLP primers, starline brass 1.615 OAL. Good coating, others have areas that flake off, absolutely no leading after 100 rds with .431 sized in ruger super blackhawk hunter. As one gentlemen already pointed out, if you have a ruger check the throats on the cylinder, you want to be able to push the bullets to push through with a little effort, should not need a hammer but they should not just drop right through either. Request .431 for rugers generally. on 23rd Jul 2016

    5. Perfect for plinking and target

I've been handloading since '92 and have a lot of experience shooting Lead, Plated and Jacketed, but I am just starting to try the new polymer coated and LOVE the concept. I recently ordered a bunch of different Coated bullets from different companies to try. I am very impressed with the quality of the Bayou Bullets because the coating is very uniform. I saw some chipping, flaking and spots of bare lead showing from various other competitors, but none of that with the bayou bullets. Also they were shipped to me VERY fast, Bayou filled my order and got me the bullets the quickest out of all the different companies offering coated bullets.

I also really like the 215 grain 44 magnum bullets. I think they are the perfect size and weight for informal plinking and target shooting, which is what I do most. To me, spending the day shooting is like my equivalent to spending the day out on the golf course to a lot of people, it is the greatest stress re leaver. I mostly shoot bowling pins, water balloons, water filled plastic jugs, and steel poppers. The 215 grain allows you to duplicate 41 mag performance in a 44 magnum firearm, (I load them to 1300 fps) it's like a 3/4 magnum and this is the perfect power level for the type of shooting I do and very economical

    6. GREAT PRODUCT

Recently a group of us went together to purchase a quantity of various 380, 9MM and 44 Cal. bullets. We have all used BAYOU BULLETS before. Three days after placing the order it was delivered. Fantastic!
While we have not yet loaded any of this batch, we are still working on the previous batch, inspection of samples from each box indicates the same level of excellence as we found with our previous orders. We will certainly order more in the future and we are strongly encouraging a local arms store to carry them in stock for others to use and enjoy.
The level of person to person customer service provided by BAYOU BULLETS is beyond expectation at all times. It just does not get better than this.

    9. Very good

Launching the 44cal 215gr painted SWC from a Rossi 92 carbine at 1,350 fps. No leading/fouling, good accuracy at 100 yds. Cycles very smoothly. Very good product. on 3rd Nov 2015
